The Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the U. S. House of Representatives has announced the release of a beta version of its new official U. S. Code website.
The new site features a number of enhancements and improvements, including:

an expanding "table of contents" style browse of the code

advanced search capability, and

Cite Checker, a new tool that allows you to quickly check specific code sections for any recent amendments.
