The American Constitution Society has just launched JudicialNominations.org, a new website that tracks vacancies, nominations, and other developments in the federal courts.
The site features an interactive map of the U.S. that allows you to click on a particular circuit or district to see the number of vacancies in that area and how long those seats have been open. For each vacancy, you can see whether anyone has been nominated, how long that nominee has been waiting for confirmation, and more. Instead of using the map, you can also see a list of vacancies or pending nominees by circuit. The site also links to news stories about judicial nominations and related Congressional statements.
