The feature film Flash of Genius has just been added to the library’s DVD collection.
The film, starring Greg Kinnear and Lauren Graham, tells the true story of college professor Robert Kearns, who invented and patented the intermittent windshield wiper in the 1960's. After Detroit automakers steal his invention without paying him or giving him credit for it, Kearns sues for patent infringement in an effort to win back the rights to his invention.
