The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company That Is Connecting the World by David Kirkpatrick has just been added to the library’s popular reading collection located on the third floor. The book traces the rise of Facebook from its founding on the Harvard campus in 2004 to its present position as the world’s largest social network. The author, a former Fortune magazine technology editor, had full cooperation from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in writing the book.
