The National Law Journal recently launched a new blog called Law School Review: A Forum on Legal Education.
The journal has assembled a panel of legal educators and law graduates to discuss whether law schools are facing a crisis, and how they should respond to such problems as rising tuition, misleading employment statistics, and inadequate skills training.
Contributors include:
-
Kyle McEntee, a 2011 law school graduate and executive director of Law School Transparency, a nonprofit group that advocates for legal education reform
-
Michael Olivas, the current president of the Association of American Law Schools
-
Brian Tamanaha, a law professor who writes about law schools on the Balkinization blog; and
-
Erwin Chemerinsky, founding dean of the University of California, Irvine School of Law
