The Yale Law School Library is currently exhibiting a collection of comic books that showcase the influence of the law and lawyers on the genre. Mark Zaid, a Washington, D.C., lawyer and leading expert on the relationship between law and comics, acted as guest curator for the exhibit.

The show is organized into different categories, including comics in the courtroom, comics that show the influence of the first amendment on the genre, depictions of courts in comics, and items that show how intellectual property law shaped characters, storylines, and titles. The exhibit, entitled "Superheroes in Court! Lawyers, Law and Comic Books," is on display through December 16 in the Rare Book Exhibition Gallery, Level L2, Lillian Goldman Library, Yale Law School.

You can read an article about the exhibit here and view a presentation about the exhibit by Mark Zaid here.
