Bruce Jacoby

Bruce Jacoby is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and Supervising Attorney for the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. He received his J.D. and Intellectual Property Certificate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2003 and began work that fall as an associate at Wiggin and Dana’s New Haven office, primarily dedicated to the intellectual property practice group. After leaving in 2006, he worked as a solo practitioner and independent contractor, specializing in the fields of copyright and trademark. Before turning to law school, Professor Jacoby worked for 25 years as a filmmaker, freelance writer and creative director. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut (state and federal courts) as well as the Southern District of New York.
