Hein Online Updated

Many law school users are already familiar with Hein Online and some of its collections, such as the law journal library, legal classics, and the Presidential library. But you may not know that Hein has recently added several valuable resources to its collections:

  • English Reports, Full Reprint (1220-1865) - This collection encompasses over 100,000 decisions of the English courts prior to 1865, reprinted from 275 separate series of reporters. You can browse all 176 volumes of the English Reports, along with its "Index of Cases," and you can search the collection by case name, English Reports citation, or nominative reporter citation.

  • World Trials - This collection includes such famous and important works as John Lawson’s "American State Trials," "Howell’s State Trials," "Law Reports of Trials of War Criminals," and "Sixty Famous Cases." In addition to trial transcripts and other court documents, the collection includes works that analyze and debate the decisions of famous trials and biographies of many great trial lawyers throughout history.

  • Foreign and International Law Resources - This valuable source of foreign and international law includes publications of the American Society of International Law, prominent yearbooks from around the world, the Hague Permanent Court of International Justice series, and the publications of dozens of other highly-respected publishers. Documents are fully searchable and in PDF format.
