Graduate Named to Board
Michael A. Cantor '83 has been named by Governor Dannel P. Malloy to the board of directors of Connecticut Innovations, an organization that provides capital and operational insight to new technology companies in Connecticut. According to the organization's Web site, Connecticut Innovations "has helped over 100 emerging companies research, develop, and market new products and services. This activity has attracted over $1 billion dollars in additional investments from private equity providers. CI has brought the State of Connecticut over $510 million in Gross State Profit and over 5,000 additional job-years.'
Cantor joins other Law School graduates, Karen K. Buffkin '92, Alexander D. Pencu '04 and Rafael A. Santiago '83, who are also serving on the board.
