Grad Receives Berkman Award

Tom Condon '75 has been recognized as the fifth recipient of Trinity College's Moses Berkman Memorial Journalism Award. Condon is a columnist with The Hartford Courant.

The Berkman award is named for Moses Berkman, a Trinity College graduate whose career at The Hartford Times newspaper from the early 1920s to 1956 included work as a reporter, columnist and editorial writer. Other Berkman award winners include: Anne Garrels of National Public Radio; John Carroll, former editor of the Los Angeles Times; Steven Pearlstein, business and economics columnist for the Washington Post; and Jason Berry, investigative journalist best known for his writings on the Catholic Church.
