General Driving Regulations

The maximum speed limit in parking lots is 5 mph. These limits are in effect 24 hours a day throughout the year. The operation of a motor vehicle is prohibited on any lawns or unpaved area except as specifically authorized by the UConn Police Department, Facilities Management, or the Dean’s Office. In addition to any regulations stated herein, the provisions of the Connecticut Motor Vehicle Laws also apply to and are enforceable on the campus.
