Are you researching the law of another country and don’t know where to start? A great source to begin with is the Foreign Law Guide.

This database, available to the law school community through the library’s research databases page, is a comprehensive guide that provides essential information on both primary and secondary sources of law for over 200 foreign jurisdictions. It will tell you where to find major codifications, session laws, case law, administrative materials, and secondary sources such as treatises, with up-to-date links to online materials. For each entry, it also provides an introduction to that jurisdiction’s legal system, and it identifies any source that has an available English translation.
