Electronic Books: netLibrary and Safari Tech Books

The library subscribes to a number of databases that provide access to electronic books. Two of those databases are netLibrary and Safari Tech Books, which can both be accessed from the library’s research databases page:

• netLibrary is a collection of over 7,000 electronic books on a variety of subjects, including many best-selling titles from the world’s leading publishers. It includes approximately 3,500 books that are in copyright, published from 1987 to the present, as well as 3,500 older titles. The collection is full text searchable and can be searched by title, author, keyword, publisher, or language. For easy off-campus access, create a free account.

• Safari Tech Books is a collection of almost 300 electronic books in the fields of business and information technology. Titles include books about computer applications, the internet, personal development, negotiation, and more. The collection is full text searchable and can be searched by title, author, subject, publisher, or year published.
