DePina Chosen President-Elect

Fallon DePina '08 has been chosen as president-elect of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association's executive board. DePina previously served as the board's treasurer.

The George W. Crawford Black Bar Association is a volunteer, state-wide organization dedicated to providing professional development programs and networking opportunities for its members. Members of Crawford undertake student mentoring and outreach efforts and they provide programming about entering the legal profession. The Association offers annual scholarships for law students including one funded by the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association Scholarship Endowment at the University of Connecticut Law School Foundation.

On February 9, Richard Wilson will deliver a keynote address at a conference on "Disasters, Displacement and Human Rights: Framing the Field" at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville.
