Are you a crossword puzzle lover?  If so, then you’ve probably attempted to solve the New York Times crossword puzzle at one time or another.

But did you know that Will Shortz, who has served as the editor of that puzzle since 1993, is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law?  In this recent video from Bloomberg Law, Shortz discusses his transition from law school to a career in puzzles.

If you would like to try your hand at a few “legal” crossword puzzles, check out the CALI crosswords.  The puzzles cover such topics as family law, injunctions, intentional torts, discovery, and strict liability.  To access CALI, you must create a CALI account using the law school’s authorization code.  Just email the Help Desk or call the Reference Desk (860-570-5068) for the code.
