Contemplative Practices in Education
On October 19, Professor Deborah Calloway will present "Contemplative Practices in Professional Education" at the "Mindful Education: Building Inner Resilience" conference at Central Connecticut State University. The conference will feature a live simulcast from Western Connecticut State University of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.
Professor Calloway teaches Criminal Law, Employment Discrimination Law, Disability Law, Contemplative Lawyering, and Mediation. A 1970 graduate of Middlebury College, she received her law degree from Georgetown Law Center in 1978 where she was Criminal Procedure Project Editor for the Georgetown Law Journal. Professor Calloway has visited at Exeter and at Seton Hall Law School. Professor Calloway co-authored three past editions of Cases and Materials on Employment Discrimination (Aspen), has published a variety of articles concerning issues in employment discrimination law and is a member of the editorial board of the Employee Rights and Employment Policy Journal.
