Constitutionalism in Latin America
Professor Angel Oquendo will be teaching a seminar on Constitutionalism in Latin America beginning January 10 at the University of Puerto Rico.
Professor Oquendo is the Olimpiad S. Ioffe Professor of International and Comparative Law. He was one of two UConn faculty members who received Fulbright-Hays Faculty Research Abroad grants for the 2010-11 academic year. He is the author of numerous publications including: "The Solitude of Latin America: The Struggle for Rights South of the Border," 43 Tex. Int’l L.J. 185 (2008); "The Lowdown on Law, Language, and Latin@s," 83 Ind. L.J. 1481 (2008) and Latin American Law (Foundation Press, 2006) among others.
