Connecticut Bill Tracking Alerts
The 2009 regular session of the Connecticut General Assembly recently convened. If you are interested in following a piece of legislation that is introduced in this session, you might find the General Assembly’s bill tracking service useful.
This free service will send you e-mail alerts whenever there is activity affecting any of the bills you are interested in. You can track individual bills, bills introduced by a specific legislator or committee, or bills co-sponsored by a specific legislator. The e-mails will include links to those bills that have a status change. For details on how to sign up for the service, go to the bill tracking help page.
To locate bills that have been introduced on a particular topic, go to http://www.cga.ct.gov/. From the "Subject Index to Bills A-Z," you can either search for a topic or click on the letter that corresponds to the topic you are interested in. A report from the Office of Legislative Research summarizes the major issues likely to be covered by the General Assembly in the 2009 session.
