The Library of Congress recently launched Congress.gov, which will eventually replace the well-known federal legislative site Thomas.

The beta site contains legislation from the 107th Congress (2001) to the present, member profiles from the 93rd Congress (1973) to the present, and selected member profiles from the 80th through 92nd Congresses (1947 to 1972).

Congress.gov has improved searching and a more user-friendly design, including an improved design for mobile devices.  Click here for more.

iPhone J.D. also provides a review of the site for iPhones.
