Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania has introduced legislation that would require the Court to allow televised broadcasts of its proceedings. The bill was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee in April and is expected to be voted on by the full Senate this year. A similar bill has been introduced in the House.
