Patrick Butler

Patrick is the Electronic Resources and Reference Librarian at the School of Law Library.  He is responsible for maintaining and developing access to electronic resources, administering the integrated library management system, and exploring and implementing relevant and emerging technologies.  Patrick also assists in providing reference, research, and educational services to the law school community.

Prior to coming to the University of Connecticut, Patrick held several positions in the libraries of Yale University, including Acting Head of Acquisitions and Manager of Technical Services for the Science Libraries, and most recently as an Electronic Resources Librarian.  While working at Yale, Patrick completed his J.D. at the University of Connecticut, School of Law.  He holds an M.L.I.S. from St. John's University and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.   

Patrick is a member of the American Association of Law Librarians and the Law Librarians of New England.
