Appellate Court Win

Under the guidance of Professor Tim Everett '84, students in the Law School's Criminal Clinic presented a case to the Connecticut Appellate Court on behalf of their client which resulted in the Court ordering a new trial.

The decision in the case, State v. Pond (138 Conn. App 228 (2012)), was published on September 25, 2012. Kate MacLeman '12 handled the oral argument on March 20, 2012 before the  three judge panel. Sabrina Copp '13, Andrew Veale '13, Matthew Bristol '11, Irene Kim '12 and Louisa Lindberg '11, students from the clinic, also  worked on the briefs for the case.
