Anti-virus software

Symantec AntiVirus (SAV) is the supported antivirus applications by the University of Connecticut due to their reliability and compatibility with university systems. University Information Technology Services offers SAV for multiple systems and platforms. Note that all versions of Symantec AntiVirus supplied below are only available to UConn users. NOTE: Support for anti-virus software is through the Law School Help Desk, not the University IT department.

The download is available only for systems connected to the school's wired network. It is not available through the wireless network or if you are connecting off-campus. Get the files.

Installation Instructions

NOTE: Be sure to uninstall any other anti-virus applications you may have installed before installing Norton AntiVirus. The UITS Help Desk has installation instructions available on their website.
