Law professor and biotechnology expert Lori Andrews talked with the ABA Journal about our lack of online privacy rights and the need for a social media constitution in this recent podcast.
They discussed how secret data aggregation about our online activities can affect our credit, insurance, and employment. They also discussed some of the ways that social networks have impacted various areas of the law, including evidence gathering, what evidence is admissible in court, and how social media can affect the right to a fair trial.
Andrews is also the author of I Know Who You Are and I Saw What You Did: Social Networks and the Death of Privacy, which is available in the library’s popular reading collection.
