Certificates and Dual-Degree Programs

Certificates:
The Law School offers JD students the opportunity to earn certificates in five areas: Intellectual Property, Tax Studies, Law and Public Policy, Energy and Environmental Law, and Human Rights.
Students pursuing a LL.M. degree in U.S. Legal Studies may choose an optional certificate of specialization in International Human Rights, Intellectual Property, Tax Law or Insurance Law.
Dual-Degree:
To meet the challenges of practice in the 21st century, more lawyers find it imperative to more fully understand the interrelation of law and other disciplines. To prepare students for these emerging opportunities, the Law School has five dual-degree programs that combine a superior legal education with graduate professional training in related fields. These programs allow qualified students to earn the J.D. and another degree more quickly than pursuing both degrees independently.
