Part-Time Student Employment During the Academic Year
In accordance with American Bar Association requirements, full-time students may not work in excess of twenty hours per week during the academic year. Although employment generally is not encouraged during the academic term, the Law School recognizes that some students may be required to work for financial or other reasons. The CPC endeavors to assist such individuals in the job search process on the same basis as students seeking summer or permanent positions. In some cases, employment is made available through the Law School itself pursuant to the University-sponsored Student Labor program, Federal Work-Study or Law School Foundation, Inc. funding. Available positions outside of the Law School are posted through Symplicity upon receiving notice from the respective employer. On-campus positions are posted on the law school website and can be secured through the Student Employment Office located in the law school library.
