Recent storms, sea level rise and weather instability have shown how vulnerable coastal states can be to climate change's harsh realities. This conference has assembled leading figures in policy and academia to focus on the shoreline, energy and inland challenges to our coastal and non-coastal infrastructure. Our morning panels bring together governmental, academic, utility and industry leaders to discuss the distinctive issues arising in coastal and riparian communities and those affecting energy and utility infrastructure. Our afternoon panel will help set the focus for the recently announced Connecticut Institute for Resilience and Climate Adaptation. Conference attendees will be asked to help determine Connecticut's climate resilience agenda.
