According to the National Law Journal’s annual survey, women accounted for only 1/3 of the attorneys working at the nation’s largest law firms.

The result was basically unchanged from the previous year.

Women comprised 45.3 of associates and 25.8 of nonequity partners.  The partner numbers are in marked contrast to the number of women represented in law school classes.  Last year, 46.7% of law school students were women.
