his course will be an introduction to European environmental law. The focus will be on the relationship between free trade and environmental policy as well as the basic environmental principles that form the basis of European environmental law and policy (such as the precautionary principle). Several highly topical issues will be addressed, such as climate change law, natural resources law, water law, and air quality law. DESCRIPTION PENDING FACULTY APPROVAL.
