This course explores pressing current problems in professional ethics in depth through articles and case studies. Topics may include Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, ethics and the government lawyer, and the issues raised by confidential civil settlements. This course does not satisfy the Legal Profession requirement for graduation. Students will be required to write a final paper.
