The seminar will focus philosophically on concepts such as free will, property, contracts, crime, punishment, justice, constitutional law, and international law. Readings will include G.W.F. Hegel's, 'Elements of the Philosophy of Right' (1991, Ed. Allen W. Wood) to see one approach to these notions and take off from there.
