Lawyering Process

This is a year long course which introduces students to professional skills essential to the effective practice of law and to the role and responsibilities of the lawyer. Training is provided in legal research and writing and in such skills as client interviewing, counseling, investigation, case planning and negotiation . In addition, students study the interpersonal, ethical and moral dimensions of lawyer-client, lawyer-witness, and lawyer-lawyer relations by observing and engaging in simulated lawyering activities.
