Topics may include: the desirability of video-taping all police interrogations; the federal grand jury and Connecticut alternatives to the grand jury; federal sentencing guidelines; prosecutorial discretion; the federalization of criminal law; capital punishment; public corruption; the sunset of the Patriot Act. A paper will be required.
