SYMPOSIA
Connecticut Law Review publishes
at least one symposium issue each year. The topic of
the symposium is one of timely interest, chosen by the
general membership through an election. Recent symposia
have addressed Wal-Mart, immigration, legal issues pertaining
to the internet, sovereignty issues related to Native
Americans, the legal rights of children, and universities
and urban renewal. Symposium issues comprise a series
of shorter articles written by scholars and practitioners
who are prominent in a particular field. The publication
of a symposium issue is generally preceded by an event
at which the authors present their papers.
