Commencement - May 18
The Law School will hold its 84th commencement exercises on Sunday, May 18, beginning at
10:30 AM. The Honorable Chase T. Rogers, Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court,
will deliver the commencement address.

Study Law This Summer
The Law School will offer a section of the
required course in Legal Profession this summer, in addition to courses
in Evidence, Business Organizations, Criminal Procedure, American Legal
History, and Animal Law.

Comparative Insurance Law
The Law School's Insurance Law Center will offer an online course next spring in Comparative Insurance Regulation. The course, a collaborative effort of law professors on three continents, will be the first on its subject in the United States.

Research on Guantanamo lawyers
Professor Alexandra Lahav has been awarded the 2008-09 Human Rights Institute Fellowship to support her research on the role of lawyers participating in the military commissions in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
