2L Class Representatives

2L Day - Alexander Cogbill

Alexander Cogbill is a 2L day student from Vermont. In undergrad at Earlham College, he majored in biochemistry and economics while serving as student body president. After graduation, he worked in Senegal. He is excited to work for the student body here during this key point in UConn Law’s evolution. Please do not hesitate to contact him with your concerns so that the SBA may best advocate for your interests. In addition to serving the student body and attending classes, Alexander is an active member of the UConn Law Soccer Club, Moot Court Board, and IP&T Society. 

2L Day - Sean LaPorta

Sean LaPorta is a 2L day representative. He received a BA in Political Science from Northeastern University where he minored in Business. Concerned about the evolving global markets and economy Sean is currently studying at the University of Exeter in the UK where he is advancing his political and legal education. 2L Day - Alexei Lourie

Alexei Lourie is a 2L day student who graduated from UCONN Business School in 2011. Prior to going to Law School, Alexei worked in accounting/finance. Alexei is a treasurer of APALSA and participates with many other student groups.  Alexei was born in Moscow, Russia, and speaks Russian, Ukrainian and Spanish. 2L Day - Nisha Kapur

Nisha Kapur graduated the George Washington University in 2011 with a major in Political Science and minor in Dance. Along with serving as a 2L SBA representative, Nisha is involved with many student groups including the South Asian Law Students Association, Connecticut Journal of International Law, and Phi Alpha Delta.
